FARMERS’ MARKET COUPON PROGRAM

Nelson and District Seniors Coordinating Society is helping to distribute coupons from the BC Association of Farmers’ Market to low-income seniors. 

The program is supported by the provincial government, the Provincial Health Services Association and the Columbia Basin Trust.

Eligible low-income seniors who are registered for this program can now pickup their coupons in the 719 Vernon St. office from 9:00-12 noon.

In 2024 we gave out 569 coupons to low-income seniors to access fresh healthy produce directly from Farmers.
