SENIORS COORDINATING OFFICE IS NOW CLOSED AT 719 VERNON ST (NEW OFFICE NEXT TO POST OFFICE)

The City of Nelson had given us notice that our present office must close by May 16 due to the Civic Centre renovations.  This will be in effect until at least October.  Our new office will be at a temporary location in suite 201-514 Vernon St., Nelson, B.C., V1L4E7, above the post office in the Community Futures offices.  An elevator is available to access this office.  Our new hours will be 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  You can still communicate with us by email sencoord@gmail.com or by phone 250-352-6008 and leave a message.  Income Tax documents can be picked up at the new office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Farmers’ Market coupons are available for registered clients to pick up starting Wednesday, June 5, at the Nelson Farmers market booth at the corner of Baker and Hall every Wednesday ONLY from 10am to noon.

Visit Nelson and District Seniors Coordinating Society (Seniors Coordinating) during office hours to access a wide variety of resources and information with regard to health, legal, housing and other public services.

Our Office Manager assisted an average of 8 people a day in finding appropriate resources that would enable them to get the support and aid they need.
